You are taken through the rigorous standards of our Certified Restaurant BrokerTM program to obtain the coveted title held by only a select few.

Your Certified Restaurant BrokerTM training materials were developed by Instructional Designer, Donna Carson, a renowned professional with over ten years' experience designing and developing training curriculum for adult learning at Procter & Gamble where she utilized instructor-led, web-based, and blended learning methods to facilitate change.  She implemented and managed the first Learning Management System for Convergence Marketing and developed a library of e-learning modules for 5000+ retail merchandisers and sales employees.  In addition to Proctor and Gamble, her client list includes online giant Google and of course, We Sell Restaurants.

Your Certified Restaurant BrokerTM program launches with a phased learning program, a 100-day Kick Off and Go to Market Plan along with ongoing Mastermind sessions to help you achieve success.

Phase I – Pre-work Manual

Phase one of the program relies on the award-winning book Appetite for Acquisition as the textbook and companion piece to a 50-page manual with exercises, questions and information focused on developing knowledge about the mindset of the buyer.

Phase II -- B.O.S.S. Webinars

Phase two of the University is a week-long practicum and webinar series on the proprietary software tool developed by the firm; the B.O.S.S.©.  The Broker's Operations and Sales System (the B.O.S.S.© ) is the nation’s most advanced web platform for business brokerage.  The proprietary tool developed by We Sell Restaurants functions as a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, a seller and listing live database tool and the only “Hot Report” and “Broker’s Dashboard” in the nation, tracking the most important activity and deals for a broker to focus on and giving real time feedback on Key Performance Indicators. Students engage in daily webinars and apply their knowledge with exercises and testing that assure their competency on the platform before moving forward in the program.

Phase III – Classroom Curriculum

Phase three of the acclaimed Certified Restaurant BrokerTM program is the Classroom curriculum delivered firsthand by Eric and Robin Gagnon, the country’s preeminent restaurant brokers.  This talented duo work through a 40-hour program that includes blended learning methods such as role playing, videos, exercises, restaurant visits and slideshow delivery.  At the conclusion of We Sell Restaurants University, the students test and demonstrate overall competency in all three phases and achieve a minimum score of 85% before achieving Certified Restaurant BrokerTM status.

Phase IV – In Market Support

Phase four of the program designed to launch your Restaurant Brokerage practice is actual in market support by the brand’s founder, Eric Gagnon. This key step allows you Invaluable one on one time for up to a week in the market helping you launch the concept, make connections and set up your Restaurant Brokerage practice. All of this is timed to coincide with a marketing and promotional push in your city so that restaurants are aware that We Sell Restaurants now has a local office led by our latest franchisee!

Phase V – Mastermind Support

Ongoing support is a hallmark We Sell Restaurants franchise and for as long as needed, there is weekly support in the form of one on one sessions with the franchise founders. These Mastermind sessions offer a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability and support in a one on one session to sharpen your business and personal skills and help you achieve success.

Compared to other general brokerage franchises that give anywhere from two to five days of training, it’s easy to see the difference in the We Sell Restaurants approach.
